Dare to dream… If you’ve ever wanted to make a bobble-head rag doll dog out of paper, your dream just came true. Actually, this craft is pretty amazing; two paper triangles and a few folds makes an adorable toy. The kids really like this one! It’s easy to make and fun to watch.
PLAY A READING GAME: ASK THE DOG
If you are using the Phonics Funsters reading program, you’ll recognize that this dog looks a lot like Dot, the drumming doll. If you want to use the dog in a reading activity, play: ASK THE DOG. Ask your child questions like, “How do you spell dog?” If they spell it correctly tap the top of the dog’s nose to indicate yes. If they are incorrect, push the dog’s ears from side to side indicate no.
