QUILT CUBES – A QUICK STORAGE BOX
If you have tons of crayons the quilt cube is the craft for you. These easy-to-make boxes are excellent storage containers for crayons and other small items.
PLAY A READING GAME – QUICK TAC TOE
If you are using the Phonics Funsters reading program, play a flashcard game. Draw a large tic tac toe board on a piece of paper. Place the phonetic word cards in the quilt cube. Take turns choosing a card, reading the word, and placing it on the board. (Player 1 puts their cards on the board horizontally. Player 2 puts their cards vertically.) The first player to get 3 cards in a row wins!
